DREYER OVER KIRKER AT GASSER NATIONALS
David Drayer is out first in his `40 Chevy over Randy Kirker’s 409 powered `31 Ford in the finals of Nostalgia Gas. Randy had the tree, .007 to .021, but took too much stripe running out with a 10.754 on a 10.78 at 114.59 MPH to David’s winning 10.962 on a 10.91 at 120.25 MPH.
The Semis of Nostalgia gas has Eileen Lape’s 55 Chevy out first over Rand Kirker with a better light, .054 to .089, but randy ran her down with a 10.799 on a 10.78 to Eileen’s 14.016 on a 13.88.
The other side of the ladder matched two cool Chevy’s with Terry Erikson’s fast `37 against David Dreyer’s `40 coupe. David had the tree, .062 to .135, and took the win with a 10.926 on a 10.91 at 120.25 MPH to Terry’s 9.586 on a 9.57 at 137.19 MPH.

The Kirker brothers debuted their 409 `31 Ford Coupe in style taking a runner up in Nostalgia Gas. And yes, it’s a real 409!!
Ray Bloom also had a great first race with his 400 Mopar powered Willys in winning the lil Beaver title over Scott Hasko’s Willys.
