Saturday's Tune and Test Session

Larry Taylor's 430
inch Small Block MOPAR set a new mark in the bid for the 100 MPH
Club presidency cutting a .001 light and turning a 9.10 at 151.20
MPH. He's the early favorite to be in the running for the Friday
Night Top Street title this season.

Top ET points leader, Jason Derr, broke in his new slicks with 7.80
passes.

Beaver Bob's cousin, Jay McCardle, from York PA showed up with his
street legal C-5 Corvette and laid down a number of 10.20 / 135 MPH
passes. That's a pretty fast ride considering he's from the dark
side of the family. (He drives Chevy's)

This is what it takes to make a C-5 Corvette into a 10 second ride
on DOT's.

Marie Snyder was back to back up her 118.00 MPH passes in her stock
C-5.

The Ford Masters:
Jim Stugart (Holman-Moody & Stugart) and Galaxie wizard Craig
Jernigan.

Dave and Bob Weaver were working on keeping the Dodge at the top of
Street.

Bike points leader, King Ed Fetterolf, was ripping off some 8.60
times.

Bill Bair's 'Busa was in the low 9's all day long.

Bill Smith had his potent Pinto running in the low 10's.

Dale Rhoads débuted Kyles' new Street ET contender. A 302 powered
`87 T-Bird.

Mopar heaven: Hemi Doug Kline and Mr. 4 speed, Chris Shaffer in the
SS Furious.

Audrey Wilson has her sharp Camaro ready for the Hot Rod Trophy
wars.

"Big House" Joe Clark is back in the drivers seat with his Duster.

Blaine Feeser had his small block Vega running in the 10's.

BSD maintenance man, Cliff Eicher had his car and the track hooking
great.

Patrick Markel was working the bugs out of the "Scaterpillar".

Billy Maturo was testing his updated Gixxer. It was on the number.

Dennis Henry had his classic `65 Mustang in the 12.0's. What a cool
car.
