Car Wild Card Shootout and Bike Wild Card Shootout. 
We know a little cash always helps get the competition going.

  RULES ARE SIMPLE
Licensed, Inspected, Insured, Real paper work, Legal exhaust, DOT's
NO Trailers: All cars must be driven through the gate.
     However, off site trailer parking at the Bean field for a $5.00 donation to DRAW       
When you sign in you'll get a tech card and a Post-a-note PINK SLIP.
The PINK SLIP is your ticket to compete in the Street Race portion of the event.

    CLASSES:  No time slips - No scoreboards!!
        Hot Street:  Any car with NOS, Turbo or Supercharger
      Real Street:  Any naturally aspirated car
   Tuner Street:  Sport Compacts, 4's, 6's  FWD.  Power adders are legal
      Street Bike:  All Bikes. Power adders are legal

  The STREET RACES:   Racing for PINKS
  No time slips - No scoreboards - Real Traffic Signal

All races are run using our new BSD Traffic Light. That's right, a real traffic light. When you pre-stage the YELLOW lights up. When you're staged, the yellow goes out and the RED lights up. Jimmy hits the switch and it's an "INSTANT GREEN"  Heads up, flat out, first to the finish. When your class is called, you come to the staging lanes with your "PINK SLIP" stuck to the inside of your drivers window.  You race a car and win, you take his PINK SLIP.  You continue to race until you lose your PINK SLIP.
                              Last man standing is the winner.

 

   CASH CLASSES:  Qualified by ET recorded in the tower
 
      
King of the Street:  8 quickest cars in time trials.
                                      Not eligible for other classes
        $300 to win (Best of 3 for final run)  $50 for each round won.

 
      Car Wild Card Shootout:  8 closest cars by ET.
                                                       Not eligible for other classes
        $150 to win (Best of 3 for final run)  $25 for each round won.

       
Bike Wild Card Shootout:  8 closest bikes by ET.
                                                       Not eligible for other classes
        $150 to win (Best of 3 for final run)  $25 for each round won.

  KING of the STREET:  
  No time slips - No scoreboards!!

King of the Street is a qualified field for the 8 fastest cars. The King of the Streets will be asked to top off their fuel tanks and meet at the gate. They will draw a playing card and be paired for competition. They will then go for a 15 mile cruise to Middleburg and back. Hoods, trunks and gas caps will be sealed.
         Then it's a shoot out to see who is the King of the Street.
      $300 to win (Best of 3 in final run off)  $50 for each round won.

  CAR WILD CARD SHOOTOUT:  
  No time slips - No scoreboards!!

The Car Wild Card Shootout is a qualified field of 8 cars that are grouped the closest by ET during time trials. EXAMPLE: It could be 8 hot Mustangs running 12.10 to 12.25 or it could be a bunch of "Tuners" running 13.70 to 13.90's. Please note we record every run on the qualifying computer in the tower. We know how fast you are but... we'll never tell anyone!! This format gives everyone a chance at running for a lot of glory and little cash. The qualifiers will be pulled in the lanes and paired up.
         Then it's a shoot out to see who is the Wild Card Champ.
      $150 to win (Best of 3 in final run off)  $25 for each round won.

  BIKE  WILD CARD SHOOTOUT:  
  No time slips - No scoreboards!!

The Bike Wild Card Shootout is a qualified field of 8 bikes that are grouped the closest by ET during time trials. EXAMPLE: It could be 8 Hayabusa's running 9.70 to 9.90 or a group of 600's running 10.90 to 11.20's  Please note we record every run on the qualifying computer in the tower. We know how fast you are but... we'll never tell anyone!! This format gives everyone a chance at running for a lot of glory and little cash. The qualifiers will be pulled in the lanes and paired up.
         Then it's a shoot out to see who is the Wild Card Champ.
      $150 to win (Best of 3 in final run off)  $25 for each round won.

 
 

  GRUDGE RACES:  No time slips - No scoreboards!!

You can grudge race anyone from 4:00 until 7:30 or you can just make as many passes as you want. The lanes are open for over three hours.
 
  FULL TRACK PREP:
In order to make the race surface safe, the entire track will be prepped with VHT from the starting line to the finish line. Just like a normal IHRA race day. You'll have to work at your suspension set up to hook up on your DOT's. It's a known fact, you can win more races by hooking up than with mega amounts of horse power.
 
  AWARDS:
The Heads Up Stop Light Drags are all about fun. Winning PINK SLIPS!!
There is limited cash awards in King Street and Wild Card Shootouts.
The final 8 in each class will win awards ranging from Beaver Bucks, pizza's,
free passes, BSD merchandise to the coveted BSD Iron Tree trophy for the Champion.

ENTRY FEES are only: $20 to compete. Spectators are only $5 each or $10 a carload.
 $2.00 insurance surcharge is added to all race entries this season
 
 THE BEAVER IS THE PLACE TO BE:

You can't have a better time than being at the drags on Saturday night. It's a car show, it's a happening. And it's affordable. Only $10 a carload. Plus the food is good and the competition friendly. Meet your friends and make new ones. See you at the Beaver.
