A wild ride for Elko!!

Scott Elko left hard on his way to a 8.58 pass at 157.97 MPH pass.

The brakes locked up at the finish line and Scott slid 1000 feet with the chute out.

The car came to rest, right side up. Just flat spotted the tires. Note Scott's T-shirt.

Here's a close up. "Wide open til ya see God. Then brake."
Scott said he didn't see God, but he caught a glimpse of Elvis.
