Mike
Fortney's Chevelle put on a show.

Dailed a 8.90, Mike left with a
.042 R/T, carried the wheels to the 200 foot mark,
ran a 8.97 on a 8.90 and won the round. What a ride!! The 406 inch
small block is all throttle, no bottle, through the mufflers on
street tires.
Just like always, Todd the photographer caught all the action. Nice
job Todd.

The Rev rose to the occasion in
the $1000 to win race going 4 rounds.

Jim Suggart visited from North Carolina in his `56 Ford powered by a
357 inch Dan Elliott engine. He ran a best of 10.23 at 131.66 MPH
with a 5 speed!! What a good looking ride. BTW: Jim works in the
NASCAR shop of Richard Childress as a transmission specialist.
