Rhoads wins Top Beaver again. 
This time it's Faron. 

Faron Rhoads in his MOPAR continued the family tradition winning Top Beaver over a red lighting Rick Bunting for the title. Brother, Dale won the previous two weeks.


Jeff Duck's silver rail took the Top ET title and the points lead with a final round victory over Glenn Seward. Both drivers cut great lights, .006 for Jeff and .012 for Glenn. But Duck's 8.01 on an 8.00 beat Seward's 8.67 run out on a 8.69. Sure looks like the Duck's were happy with that outcome.

Faron got to Top Beaver by defeating defending Modified points champion and points leader, Jason "Wonder Boy" Weaver in the finals by running out the least. Faron had a 10.906 on a 10.91 to Jason's 10.115 on a 10.12. That's a close one.

In a heads up battle for the Biker's Blitz Iron Man Race, Dr. Rick Bunting took the title over Turbo Bob Shields with a 8.05 to an 8.13. 

Ken Klingman's `83 Mustang stopped Dale Rhoads in the finals of Street in a double break out affair with a 12.57 on a 12.58 to Dale's 12.17 on a 12.20. 

Derek Hartley's 6 cylinder Chevette continued to dominate Hot Rod Trophy defeating Tammy Klock's Firebird in the finals. 

It was an all Ford final in the 18 car TCR field. Jed Seigler's F-150 prevailed over Zack Caswell's T-Bird Super Coupe with a 10.41 on a 10.40 to Zack's 10.45 on a 10.39. 
The Teen Championship Racing program is a major hit at the Beaver.


Rookie, Rylee Duck, (bottom) in only her second race outlasted the 14 car field of Juniors when she carded a 12.94 on a 12.93 to stop Pittsburgh Raceway's veteran Tim Whalen in the finals. Tim ran a 8.30 on a 8.28. Aunt Wanda and Grandma Duck congratulate the 8 year on on her victory. It was a grand day for the Ducks winning Top ET and JR.

Andrew Charcalla put his Mustang in the Lil Beaver winners circle with a 
final round win over Hemi John Simbeck. 

Virginia's Dale Brady was testing his 706 inch Avanger on Sunday. 
He ran three straight 7.14's at 196.77 MPH.
