Double up in Iron Man  Jon Paone's Hooter's entry, (15-17 age champ) knocked off Joey Fellenbaum in the semi's of the Iron Man with a 8.00 on a 7.92 to Joey's 9.04 on a 9.01 He then went on and defeated Allison Bell, (13-14 age champ) in the Iron Man finals. Allison got there first but ran out with a 8.24 on a 8.30 dial giving the win to Jon with a 7.93 on a 7.92.  Jon, and brother Julian celebrate with their family and crew after winning both of the Iron Men trophies. Julian took home the TCR title.  Julian Paone stopped Ashley Rivera for the TCR Iron Man title.  Julian Paone became the first Iron Man Champion in the history of the IHRA to win an Iron Man by defeating Sunday's Champion, Ashley Rivera in the shootout finals. 8 - 9 Year Age Group  Testa verses Lenker  JP Lenker of Dalmatia, PA won the 8-9 age group with a final round victory over Nicole Testa. JP carded a 13.31 on a 13.12 dial to Nick's late 13.21 on a 13.15.  Nicole Testa (8-9 age) was looking good all day, falling in the finals to JP Lenker. 10-12 Year Age Group  Fellebaum verses Clark  Joey Fellenbaum of Landisville, PA took the 10-12 age group over DJ Clark in a close one. DJ gambled on the tree and lost with a -.013 light giving the win over to Joey who ran a right on 8.98 at 72.05 MPH.  DJ Clark looked like the man to beat in the 10-12 age group cutting .0-teens all day long. DJ went for the tree and lost in the finals with a -.013. 13-14 Year Age Group  Bell verses Markwat  Allison Bell won the 13-14 age group over Kenny Markwat with a final round 8.05 on a 8.01 when Kenny fouled first with a -.058.  Kenny Markwat of Higganum, CT was the runner up in the 13-14 age group to Allison Bell. The Port-A-Tree entry was in the running all day long. 15-17 Year Age Group  Paone verses Spence  Jon Paone of Ventor, NJ won a close one over Brittany Spence when ran a 7.96 on a 7.95 dial to Brittany's 8.111 on a 8.07.  Brittany Spence took runner up honors in the 15-17 age group after a great 8.07 on a 8.07 with a .017 light in the semi's. She just fell short by .008 on the tree. TCR - Rivera verses DiIorio  Sunday's TCR title fell to Ashley Rivers from Fredricksburg PA when she carded a 12.20 on a 12.18 in her RAV 4 to stop Tim DiIorio's 11.16 on a 11.14.  Ashley Rivera and the Kohr's Kustoms crew in the winners circle.  Tim DiIorio of Burlington, NJ made it to the finals of the 46 car TCR field. Tim was looking good all day. He was just a little late on the tree and Ashley took the win. Mom's in JR's  Stricker verses Vollman  Kara Stricker's mom won the Mom's in Jr title with a 7.85 on a 7.78 at 83.65 MPH  Sue Vollman made a race of it as she had a better .047 light but ran out with a 10.48 on a 10.50 at 60.29 MPH. Those Mom's are really into it!! Saturday's Action 330's Quick 32  Eric Peterka of Gilbertsville, PA took the 330 title on Saturday over Doug Fettenbaum. Eric carded a 4.714 on a 4.72 to Doug's 4.512 on a 4.58 dial. All Run JR's  Tina Orth won the huge (86 entries) All Run JR's race on Saturday over Daniel Markwat with a 8.06 on a 8.02 at 77.24 MPH.  Daniel Markwat took the runner up title in Saturday's All Run JR eliminator. The 7 round event found Daniel on the short side of the stick when he ran a 9.76 on a 9.72 loosing by only .004. TCR = Teen Championship Racing  Jon Paone ran his first ever TCR event and came away the winner by being consistent all day long. He carded a right on 10.40 on a 10.40 coupled with a .030 light he was the man!!  Shanna Bechtel was good right up to the final round when she ran out with a 10.49 on a 10.62 in her Turbo T-Bird. Rob Olewiler of Test and Tune Automotive, the TCR sponsor was ecstatic about the 40 plus car turn out each day. Turtle TCR - 20 second index!  Turtle TCR Championship fell to Dylan Myers in his diesel Ford.  Turtle TCR runner up was Dana Loffedo in her Avalanche. Yes, we had fun all weekend!!
