Captain Ed commands the lead

Captain Ed Brady qualified number 1 with a 9.18 at 156.84 MPH and went on to take the Top Street title for the sixth time this season. Ed defeated pit mate, Terry Brouse with a 10.14 on a 10.06 at 132.13 MPH to Terry's 10.61 on a 10.53 at 132.60 MPH.

Brian Snyder copped the Sport Bike title over Bob "Fig" Newton's identical Hayabusa with a 9.90 on a 9.82 at 137.04 MPH to Fig's 9.72 on a 9.70 at 142.81 MPH.


Chris Shaffer at the helm of the SS Furious stopped number 2 Mike Rowe in his Mustang to maintain his points lead in Street Stick. Chris cut a .011 light and ran a 12.30 on a 12.20  for the title. Mike, unfortunately broke after he launched.


Larry Taylor hasn't been able to win Top Street for the past two weeks but he's almost unbeatable in S/Automatic. This week the Mopar took the title over Doug Madison's Mustang with a final round 10.61 on a 10.58 at 128.18 MPH after Doug fouled.

Another tough competitor in Street Automatic is Ryan Shirk in his HP Engines powered Mustang. He's right near the top in points.

Bill Marks fell in the finals of Bone Stock Truck to Leah Shaffer's Blazer. Bill hopes to debut his Sonny Leonard powered Olds 442 in WFO at Flashback Friday.


Outlaw Street went to Lee Charles in his Underdog Camaro over King Ed Fetterolf's
8 second Hayabusa. Lee cut a .030 and ran a 13.46 on a 13.26 at 100.54 MPH for the win as Ed ran a blistering 8.65 on a 8.60 at 161.26 MPH in street legal trim.


Sport Compact points contender, Jeremy Campbell is his "Winged thing" Civic dropped a close on to Gene Sweitzer's Eclipse in the quarter finals. Gene went on to take the title over Roy Hostler's Saab with a close 19.33 on a 19.31 at 75.79 MPH.

TCR was an all Smith Brothers final. This time Cody's Firebird beat out Colin's IROC with a final round right on 10.44 at 65.86 MPH to Colin's run out 10.10 on a 10.14.


For the fourteenth time this season Autumn Miller took the JR ATV title. This time over Nick Cashdollar. Yes that's his real name, no kidding!! Shown below Autumn's grand dad, Harry Hassinger, the man who makes it all happen in the JR ATV and Friday TCR programs, Harry owns and operates  of Duncannon Service Center. Harry was a former Bike eliminator standout riding a Yamaha 350 in the 12 second zone. My guess is that was 50 pounds and 20 years ago. Am I close Harry?
