Captain Ed takes the lead again

Capt. Ed Brady won a close one over number 2 points man, Larry
Taylor by running out the least with a 10.06 on a 10.08 at
136.44 MPH to the Mopar's 10.60 on a 10.63 at 127.58 MPH. Ed now
leads 3906 to Larry's 3604. It's a real dog fight this year.

The Sport Bike title went to Bob Newton for the second time this
season when Bob ran a 9.86 on a 9.85 at 143.44 MPH to Brian
Snyder's run out 9.78 on a 9.81 at 144.09 MPH in his identical
Hayabusa.

Street Stick went to the master of the eliminator, Chris
Shaffer, over rising star,
Aaron Wilt, in his quick Firebird. Chris ran a 12.30 on a 12.24 at 102.57
MPH to
Aaron's 14.13 on a 14.00 at 101.35 MPH

Street Automatic came down to veterans, Terry Brouse and Rob
MacDonald. Brouse prevailed in his Camaro with a closer 10.55 on
a 10.54 at 132.02 MPH after Rob cut a much better light, (.054
to .109) but ran out with a 12.25 on a 12.33 at 109.93 MPH.

Outlaw Street was a classic Ford - Chevy battle. This time
points leader, Bob Horting, in his Ranger took the win with a
11.35 on a 11.27 at 117.47 MPH over Eric Krell's
10.60 on a 10.57 at 126.03 MPH.

Sport Compact came down to the guys who know how to drive top
end. Tim Kocher in his Cavalier took with a 16.58 on a 16.50 at
83.91 MPH when Jeremy Campbell ran out in his Civic 18.365 on a
18.37 at 74.51 MPH.

TCR is a big class on Friday nights and the kids just love it.
Tyler Gardner in his Trans Am took the title over Jed Seigler's
F-150 with a 10.16 on a 10.14 at 68.51 MPH after Ziggy fouled
with a -.045 running a 10.45 on a 10.46 at 66.62 MPH.

Birthday girl, Autumn Miller, lost in the first round of TCR but
came back to win
the JR ATV title over Joyra Bilger. It was her 13th win on the
season.

Steve Hull took the ATV title over Deb "Pinky Tuscadero" Yocum
with a final round 22.09 on a 22.45 at 53.35 MPH after Pinky
went red with a -.024 foul.

Steve took a close semi's win over points leader, Josh Yocum.

Cat fight semis: Kate Hassinger is out first over "Pinky" Yocum
but ran out the most.

ATV's are a big and very competitive field every Friday. We just
love `em.

Bone Stock Truck came down to pit mates with Merv Moyer's F-250
diesel taking the title over Commander Ummy with a 14.96
on a 14.89 at 79.21 MPH to Ummy's
19.10 on a 18.88 at 73.11 MPH.

Father knows best. Bill Marks gave his son, Will Marks, yes the
one who drives the Top Street S-10, a lesson on driving a Bone
Stock Truck. Bill put a .047 light on Will's .066 and ran a
17.37 on a 17.20 at 76.47 MPH to take a second round win in his
Dodge when Will ran a 18.44 on an 18.20 at 78.34 after cutting a
.066 light.

Lynn "Ummy" Umberger showed no mercy to rookie, Autumn Moyer in
the second round of Bone Stock Truck with a 18.85 on a 18.88 at
73.34 MPH in his Commander.

Look! It's Dale in the UPS Truck!!
Pat Woodling was permitted to race his truck in Street Stick to
earn points while his fast Capri was down for repairs. He won
the first round over Mike Gray's Mustang.

Bob "Fig" Newton was the champ in Sport Bike.

Terry Brouse is joined by Dave Snook after winning Street
Automatic.

Tim "Yoda" Kocher took the Sport Compact title.
