Top Beaver Champion, Bob Klock, celebrates with pit mate Joe "Big House" Clark after winning his unprecedented 4th Top Beaver title over Dave Carpenter. Bob has now won more Top Beaver's than any driver ever has in a single season.

All Ford final in Top ET: Jim Stover in his 410 inch Pinto took the title over Brian Vollman's `47 Taunus with a 10.29 on a 10.31 at 129.53 MPH. Vollman left too soon with a -.005. Brian continues to lead the Top ET points chase by 1300 points.


Cliff Eicher found the winners circle in Modified with a final round triumph over Blase Raia's quick Trans Am. Cliff cut a .022 and ran a 12.16 on a 12.12 at 110.19 MPH to Blase's .048 and 8.97 on a 8.95 at 147.15 MPH. Karen and family celebrate for sure.

Cliffie took a semi's win over visitor, Kevin Macnicol, from North Port Florida
when the Nova went red. Cliff ran a 12.15 on a 12.12 at 113.32 MPH.


Dave Carpenter was another first time winner today taking the title over King Ed Fetterolf in the finals with a 9.73 on a 9.72 at 132.33 MPH to Ed's off pace 9.18 on a 8.91 at 158.47 MPH. Stacy Jo Carpenter jumps for joy.

Street ET was all Bob Klock as the 440 Challenger cut a better light (.020 to .071) to stop Bud Poust's S-10. Bob ran a 12.09 on a 12.04 at 109.31 MPH to Bud's 12.19 on a 12.17 at 109.64 MPH. If Bud would have won, it would have been 4 first time winners.

Hot Rod Trophy was a battle of Mustangs. The Fabulous Clark Knudsen, near side, took the title over Sam Ficarra with a great .015 light coupled with a 12.14 on a 12.12 at 113.53 MPH to Sam's late .140 and run out 12.18 on a 12.31 at 109.01 MPH.

Too late. After cutting double 00 lights all day, Tammy Klock missed the tree and ran out giving an easy win to Sam Ficarra in his Mustang.

TCR finals found buddies Cody Smith stopping points leader, Dwight Shelly's Chevy truck with a closer 10.50 on a 10.48 at 65.33 MPH to Dwight's run out 10.10 on a 10.12. 

Lil Beaver semis went to Pete Wallace in his Camaro over Dennis Mull's Monte.  Pete lost in the finals to Gentleman Jim Holland's GTO when Jim cut a better light.
WINNERS CIRCLE

It's been a long time coming but Jim Stover finally earned his Iron Tree. Jimmer is joined by Ford guys Mike Rowe, Howard and Howie Zulauf.

Cliff  Eicher had a mob of friends join him in the winners circle.

Nick Nagle fouled with a -.043 running a 8.70 on a 8.68 at 160.25 MPH while points leader Brian Vollman ran a 9.85 on a 9.88 at 137.99 for the win.

Mike McCracken went red in his Nova and Brian Dubbs pick up the win in the battle of Zoo Crew members. The Altered ran a 9.27 on a 9.26 to Mike's -.013 foul 9.28 on a 9.24

Rookie, Ron Masanik, cut a great .011 light but ran under his 9.63 dial with a 9.56 at 139.31 MPH giving the win to Hemi John Simbeck's 9.08 on a 9.11 at 154.45 MPH

Brian Pecht took out Dave Bratton with a .023 light to Dave's .066 and ran a right on 9.46 at 144.02 MPH for the win. Dave trailed with an off pace 8.42 on a 8.29 at 147.92

Ford battle: Tom Youtzy's supercharged Falcon dropped a close one to Andrew Charcalla in round one. Tom cut a .029 and ran a 9.57 on a 9.56 at 143.86 MPH to Andy's .025 and 9.27 on a 9.25 at 150.27 MPH.

Jim Stover's march to his first ever Top ET title started with a win over Scotty Reichenbach's altered. Jim cut a .022 and ran a with on 10.33 at 129.19 MPH to
Scott's real close .021 but running out with a 8.239 on a 8.25 at 161.78 MPH.
