Season Championships
to Bob Klock and Kenny Kauffman

Bob Klock, who dominated Top Beaver with 5 wins this
season,
took the Sweitzer's Performance overall Championship win over
Earl Gee's Demon with a final round 12.04 on a 12.03 at 110.83
MPH to the Earl's 11.21 on an 11.20 at 122.59 MPH.


Kenny Kauffman onboard his 1428 Ninja took the prestigious Gemini Triple
.000 Club title over hitter, Gunner Miller with a final round
8.71 on a 8.66 at 141.30 MPH after cutting a .001 light. Gunner
ran out, 11.145 on a 11.15 with a later light.

Top ET went to Jim Stover's Pinto over Rookie Brian Pecht's
Rhino Vega with a 10.17 on a 10.15 at 129.98 MPH after Brian
fouled with a -.008 and running a 9.38 on a 9.23.

The
Modified title went to Rob Bucher's Amal Drilling Camaro over
2007 Champion Jason Weaver when Rob cut a .011 light to Jason's
.022. Rob ran a 10.83 on a 10.81 at 126.26 MPH to Weaver's 10.01
on a 9.99 at 130.13 MPH to win the title.

Billy Maturo on his Yellow Jacket and Dr. Rick set their trans
in low gear. Billy went on to take the title with a 9.28 on a
9.24 at 139.23 MPH to the Doc's 8.64 on a 8.59 at 145.13 MPH.
Both riders are qualified for the Bracket Finals at Pittsburgh
in October.

Street eliminator fell to hot shoe, Dave Weaver, in his Charger
over Sue Vollman's Mustang with a final round 12.45 on a 12.48
at 108.29 MPH after a great .004 light.
Sue put forth a good effort but went red with a -.003.

The JR title went to Jake Wood in the Repozest rail after
he disposed of Cody Walter in this semi's pairing. Jake ran a
right on 7.90 at 80.16 MPH to win the title over Ryan Hann's
Rislone entry.


Hot Rod Trophy was a cat fight with Cait Hassinger in her
Mustang taking the title over a tough Michele Orwig. Cait ran a
14.62 on a 14.50 at 95.65 MPH to the Chevy's 11.95 on a 11.85 at
115.13 MPH. Cait's grand dad, Harry Hassinger, cheers the
moment.
Both girls have done great in their rookie season.

TCR found Cait's sister, Autumn Miller, taking the title over
Cody Smith's Firebird with a 10.07 on a 10.10 at 68.63 MPH to
Cody's run out the most 10.187 on a 10.23 at 67.10.

Rob Bucher and his friends fought a tough battle all season and
finally made the winners circle. Next season he'll be a great
contender.

Perfect Run


Ken Kauffman Sr. accomplished the 5000 to 1 odds run with a
perfect pass in the second round of Bike when he defeated 2007
Champion, Bob Shields, with a perfect run. Ken cut a .000 light
and ran a 8.630 on a 8.63 at 150.42 MPH. Way to go Ken!!
New Record
 
On Saturday's Test and Tune session a new `07 MPH record was set for
a street legal bike when Mike Lewis of York unleashed a 170.00
MPH pass onboard his Turbo Hayabusa. The retired USAF
veteran said he rides the bike on the street everyday.
Hey Sgt. isn't 170 MPH rotation speed for an F-15 Eagle?
