Season Opener to Dave Weaver's Dodge

Top Beaver came down to Dave Weaver's Street ET Mopar and Top Champ, Jason Derr. At the stripe it was Weaver running a 12.470 on a 12.41 at 102.50 MPH to the Chevy's  off pace 8.06 on a 7.93 at 168.85 MPH. Both drivers were right on the money all day long.

Dave had a big cheering section go wild over his Top Beaver win.

Top ET finals was a Ford verses Chevy battle between 2007 champ, Brian Vollman and Jason Derr. It was all over at the start as the Taunus drew a red light handing the win over to JD who ran a great 7.91 on a 7.90 at 171.49 MPH.

The all Pontiac finals in Modified eliminator went to Peter Scorti from Thomasville, PA in his `69 Tempest over Blase Raia's Trans Am. Peter cut a .040 light and ran out the least with a 11.632 on a 11.65 to Raia's 8.831 on a 8.85.

King Ed Fetterolf on his Busa, disposed of Dave Carpenter in the semi's in Bike with a great 8.73 on a 8.72 at 146.57 MPH and was looking to face off against Bob Shields. But Shields was unable to make the call giving Ed the Bike title on a solo.

The Street Finals found "The Fabulous" Clark Kundsen stick shift Mustang fall to Dave Weaver's small block Charger when Dave ran a 12.46 on a 12.42 at 100.76 MPH to Clark's 12.03 on a 12.00 at 114.53 MPH. 

Hot Rod Trophy reining champion, Thamaira Boyle picked up where she left off last season taking the title over Lee Tressler's Monte Carlo. Thamaira cut a great .019 and ran a 12.42 on a 12.46 at 107.25 MPH forcing Lee to draw a red light.

TCR was a battle of the F bodies with Travis Delcamp in his black Firebird taking the win when Colin Smith fouled. Travis ran a 10.16 on a 10.18 at 71.00 MPH for the title.

The JR Dragster finals was a battle of buddies with Kyle Kohr's "Hemi" picking up the win with a 8.69 on a 8.62 at 72.60 MPH over Brian Vollman's closer but late 8.98 on a 8.97 at 73.96 MPH.

Dave Novinger took the Lil Beaver win on a solo when Dan Baker could not make the call in his Ventura. Dave had his Vega on the number's in the second chance race.
