Larry and Graham Taylor double up.
Larry takes WFO, Graham wins Street/Auto.

In the finals of the WFO Club race, number #3 qualifier Larry Taylor
met up with #4 qualifier Brad Parr. Taylor cut a .005 to Parr's
-.039 foul to take the win laying down a 9.29 at 147.22 MPH to the
555's 9.40 at 143.70

Semi-finals found #2 qualifier, Kevin Troup's 406 inch Camaro
stumble at the 1000
foot and let Parr take the win with a 9.37 at 144.20 to Troup's 9.47
at 142.51 MPH.

Semi-finals found #1 qualifier, Capt. Ed Brady go red with a -.005
to give Taylor the win. Taylor powered on to the win with a 9.36 at
147.54 to Ed's 9.46 at 152.49.

Brad Parr's first round victim was Braidon Neese's quick Mustang.


It was almost curtains for Capt. Ed in his round 1 match up with
Travis Rice's `65 Galaxie. The big 598 incher caught ed on the tree
and had him to the 1000 foot mark with a 9.40 at 143.70 MPH to Ed's
9.29 at 147.22 MPH. Everybody loves that Ford.

Terry Brouse had to take a chance on the tree and lost in his first
round match up with Taylor. The 383 ran a 10.21 at 133.43 MPH to
Larry's 9.23 at 147.54 MPH.

Graham Taylor made it a close one in round one when he fouled with a
-.009 to Kevin Troup's `69 Camaro. Graham ran a 10.00 at 136.54 MPH
to Troup's 9.41 at 144.50 MPH.

Kevin Troup has it all. A fast car, pretty girlfriend and a tough
bull dog.

Sport Bike finals went to Dave Davis on his blue Hayabusa over Bill
Maturo's `Busa. Dave was late with a .082 to Bill's .043 but Maturo
never looked back and ran out with
a 9.67 on a 9.98 at 147.85 to Dave's 9.32 on a 9.33 at 156.73 MPH.

Davis's semi-final win came over last week's champ, Bob Newton when "Fig"
had starting line problems.

Melissa Newton, of `The Newton sisters' fame, débuted in Sport Bike
with some solid runs. She lose to Bill Maturo in the semi's with a
run out 17.25 on a 17.70 at 75.89.

Street Stick went to the master, Chris Shaffer in his SS Furious
over Dennis Henry's classic `65 Mustang. Chris ran a 12.20 on a
11.99 at 99.41 MPH as Henry was late and ran a 11.85 on a 11.71 at
120.62 MPH.

Dennis Henry's Street Stick Mustang is a Friday night favorite.

Street Automatic was won by "Old school" Graham Taylor over Dave
Snook in his `73 Dart with a 9.98 on a 9.96 at 131.25 MPH to the
440's 11.94 on a 11.81 at 114.60 MPH.

Street Auto points leader, mark Russell, fell in the semi's to
Taylor with a 16.09 on a 16.04 at 79.43 MPH to Graham's 9.97 on a
9.96 at 131.48 MPH.

Outlaw Street went to points leader and `07 champion, Bob Horting in
his `87 Ford Ranger with a 10.83 on a 10.79 at 124.65 MPH to IHRA
Modified racer, Rob Bucher's, 11.04 on a 11.06 at 124.89 MPH after
Rob had pulled a close -.002 red.


Sport Compact was taken by Johnny Whiskey in his Neon with a
final round 17.55 on a 17.51 at 73.15 MPH to Craig Poust's 12.20 on
a 12.10 at 118.23 MPH. Poust's CRX had dipped into the 11 second
zone in time trials. Pretty impressive when you see him drive the
little Honda through the gate every week. His day is coming.

Bone Stock truck came down to a battle of pit mates
with Merv Moyer taking the title over Queen Leah. Moyer ran a 14.97
on a 14.75 at 73.79 MPH to Shaffer's 18.80 on a 18.55 at 71.43 MPH.
Leah will get by Merv next time.

The Smurf-mobile is one fast diesel.

Newton sister, Michelle débuted in Bone Stock truck with her
Jeep. She fell in round to John Flemming's `02 trail Blazer by being
the latest on the tree .710 to .497


The ATV title went to points leader, Rich Klase on his Banshee over
veteran, Steve Hull, when Steve went red with a -.005. Klase ran a
15.63 on a 15.45 at 76.95 MPH to Hull's 22.06 on a 22.02 at 52.60
MPH. 
TCR was won by Tyler Bergenstock in his Silverado SS over Tyler
Gardner's Trans AM. The big Chevy carded a 10.33 on a 10.27 at 66.08
MPH to Gardner's closer but later, 10.17 on a 10.16 at 67.88 MPH.


JR ATV went to Samantha Cashdollar over Kyle Kohr when she ran a
17.46 on a 17.48 at 29.89 MPH after Kyle went red with a -.023 and
ran a 12.13 on a 12.45 at 54.51 MPH.

Taylor and Taylor, a real winning combination tonight.

TCR Champ, Tyler Bergenstock. Tyler is the one responsible for TCR
being an eliminator on Friday nights. Two years ago he came to
Beaver Bob and asked why we didn't run TCR on Friday nights. That's
all it took and now it's a staple of Fridays.
