One more race to go.

October 24, 2008
IT'S THE WILL and BILL SHOW AGAIN

Graham Daddy Taylor is out on a better light but he backed out of his 9.85 dial running a 10.03  while Will Marks ran a lot closer with a 9.28 on a 9.22 at only 137.23 MPH to take the Top Street title and a 205 points lead.

Doug Madison's Mustang left just .003 to early in the Outlaw Street finals in his final round match with his nemesis, Big Dan Swank. Dan took the title running a 10.25 on a 10.28 at 126.31 MPH to Doug's 10.95 on a 10.96 at 126.52 MPH.

Mr. Friday Night, Brian Snyder, is out first onboard his Hayabusa over Bill Maturo Sr. Brian cut a .004 light and ran a 9.96 on a 9.82 at only 137.67 MPH to Bill's 9.78 on a 9.58 at 148.22 MPH to win the title.

Street Stick winner, Chris Shaffer, stopped to get his "Ethel hug" and Dennis Kohr joined in.

Street Auto was an all MOPAR finals with Sport Compact star, Johnny Whiskey, taking the title in his Neon over Jackie Kohr when he ran a 17.36 on a 17.35 at 79.66 MPH to the 340 pilots run out 12.97 on a 12.99 at 101.58 MPH.

Kenny Klingman was looking good in Sport Compact until Craig Poust's 11 second CRX put a number on him to take the title. Ken is a really tough driver in IHRA Street with his Mustang.

Barb Troup is out first with a .075 light to Kyle Nipple's late .240 but she took too much strip running a 22.06 on a 22.15 at 49.29 MPH and handed the win to Kyle's 14.31 on a 14.19.

Mike Jones is out first in his Cherokee over Bill Marks' Dodge with a .098 light but Bill's .029 light ran him down for the win with a 15.14 on a 15.08 at 91.21 MPH to Mike's run out 16.33 on a 16.40 at 81.23 MPH. Both driver use the "Double up for $5 bucks program", when you pay the $20 fee to race in any eliminator you can double up in Bone Stock Truck for only $5.00

Carley "Girley" Smith cut a .067 light but it wasn't good enough to hold off Ty Bergenstock's .023 in his Silverado SS. Ty ran her down with a 10.08 on a 10.00 at 71.18 MPH to Girley's 11.78 on a 11.74 at 57.84 MPH.

JR ATV finals found points leader, DJ Clark onboard his Kawasaki stopping Nick Cashdollar's Suzuki with a 14.02 on a 13.96 at 37.86 MPH to Nick's 13.04 on a 12.88 at 48.31 MPH.
WINNER'S CIRCLE

Will, Bill and the crew doubled up again with Will winning Top Street and Bill taking the Bone Stock Truck title. Both are in the lead in their eliminators with only one week to go.

Buddies, John Troxell and Big Dan Swank made it to the winner's circle following Dan's second Outlaw Street title in a row. And again it was over Doug Madison's Mustang.

Dan and John gave Ethel their trademark sandwich victory hug. Ethel loves it.

Mr. Friday Night, Brian Snyder, is so good he can win Sport Bike with his eyes closed.

Chris Shaffer and Mike Rowe, have dominated Street Stick this season. Chris cemented his 5th Championship with a final round victory over friend and pit mate, Mike Rowe.

If Johnny Whiskey can't beat you in Sport Compact, he'll win in Street Auto. The guy is good.

When it comes to fast Sport Compacts, this is the face on the money. Craig Poust's CRX runs consistently in the 11 second zone. The man knows his stuff on front drivers.

Kyle Nipple moved into 4th place with his 6th win of the season in ATV. This ride is quick.

Mr. Friday night TCR, Tyler Bergenstock is joined in the winner's circle with by his co-driver and dad, Jerry. Ty is following in his big brother's foot steps. Racing runs in this family.

JR ATV master, DJ Clark, put the points chase out of reach with another win. This one over Nick Cashdollar. Big House's claim to fame is he's DJ's dad. ...plus he's a pretty good IHRA Street Eliminator driver also.
SHOTS IN THE DARK

Always the showman, Will Marks brings his S-10 out hard every run.

How can you not be impressed when a 3800 pound Olds 442 runs 9.10's!!

Jeff Stahl goes red in Outlaw Street on Barry's bike.

With Big Dan it's just a cruise down the 1320. Check out his style, left arm resting on the door and making a 126 MPH blast.

Jeff Gaberiel laid down a 150 MPH pass in his street legal Chevelle. WFO next season.

Kevin Troup and his good looking Mustang, girlfriend and pooch. Some guys have it all.

After Captain Ed broke his  9 second Camaro, Dave Snook put the bottle in Ed's Silverado to make a pass against Will Marks. It might have made a difference if he had it hooked to the engine intake, but at least Dave really looks happy.

Richie Bunting making a 160 MPH blast on King Ed's Gixxer.

Close, but not a new record.

Daryl Walter on his 750.

Bill Maturo Sr. can still ride with the best of them.

Milt Fuoss on his good looking Honda.

Top Street hot shoe, Larry Taylor made a 145 MPH blast in Michelle McGowan's MOPAR. When asked what it was like compared to his Dart he said it was like driving the USS Nimitz.

Former TCR champion, Jed Seigler, made his début in dad's 10 second Fairmont.

Cliffie, Big Dan and Johnny Troxell. There's a fib in there somewhere.

Even in the low 40 degree temps, the racers were out in force at the Beav.
