Klock cleans their clocks!!

The Grand Beaver title fell to Bob Klock in his 440 Challenger over Saturday's champion, Roy Kline. Bob cut a .036 light and ran a 12.348 on a 12.25 at 99.83 MPH to Roy's .043 light and an off pace 11.74 on a 11.57 at 112.90 MPH to take the Betty Goodman Memorial trophy. Overall it was one of the best days ever in the Klock stable with son Josh and daughter Melissa picking up wins in Baby JR and Baby TCR.
Everybody wants to get their photo taken with "Crazy Dick" Goodman.

Frank Romeo had to show his boys how it was done by taking the Top ET title away from 2006 Champion, Jeff Duck with a right on 10.15 at 135.97 MPH to the Duck's 7.98 on a 7.94 at 163.19 MPH. Frank's day came to an end when he lost in the finals of
Top Beaver to Bob Klock with a -.006 red light.

It's the Doc by a mile over Division Champion, Billy Maturo. Doc ran a 8.61 on a 8.53
at 137.67 MPH to Billy's off pace 9.13 on a 8.90 at 155.14 MPH. Bill had a much better light, .021 to .052, but old age and treachery trumps youth and enthusiasm again.

It sure looks close to us!! Mike Boyer dropped a heart breaker to the Doc when he fouled with a -.041 light and ran a 9.64 on a 9.59 at 141.33 MPH to Doc's 8.53 on a 8.57.

Semi final action went to Billy Maturo over Ken Kauffman when Ken drew a foul. Billy ran a 8.90 on a 8.89 at 154.82 MPH to Ken's 8.90 on a 8.79 at 147.13 in taking the win.

Blase' Raia was on his game all weekend long. He downed Snake Kurtz in the finals of Modified on Monday to capture his second Modified title of the weekend. Even with a bum knee, Bill can jump at least a little. On Sunday he captured the IHRA Iron Man for his win over Jason Howell.

Track photographer, Todd Dziadosz, caught a great shot of just how close it was in the semi's of Modified when Jason Weaver used too much brake peddle. JW had a better light with .019 to Blase's .045 but gave up the stripe by .004 with a 10.07 on a 10.05 to Raia's right on 8.98 on an 8.98. Those Beaver Boys are really tough drivers.

This is how close Doug Kline was to going into round four of Modified.

Bob Klock in his Challenger copped his first Iron Tree of the season when he stopped points leader, Dave Weaver in the finals of Street with final round win over Dave's   Charger. Melissa and Tammy celebrate.

Tyler Thomas broke his Firebird but was able to borrow a winner when he stopped Hot Rod Trophy shoe, Derek Hartley in the finals with a 18.99 on a 18.93 at 74.86 MPH
to Hartley's 15.25 on a 15.22 at 89.50 MPH in his 6 cylinder Chevette.

TCR was a battle of the sexes. In Monday's action, points leader, Zack Miller in his Nova downed cutie Carly Smith's Cougar with a 10.23 on a 10.20 at 66.39 MPH to Carly's run out 11.140 on a 11.15 at 63.23 MPH.

Cody Gibson put his Repozest rail in the winners circle with a final round win over Dan Dunkleberger when he ran a 7.98 on a 7.92 at 77.53 MPH to Dan's 10.75 on a 10.63 at 58.31 MPH. Woody and his family are on a happy ride to retrive the winner.
Lil Beaver semi's went to Mark Romeo's Nova. Jim Holland took the title in his GTO.

Josh Houpt picked up his first ever win in Baby Beaver when he downed Cody Binkley with a 11.29 on a 11.15 at 54.51 MPH after Cody went red.
SUNDAY'S ACTION

Mike Hine in his Danger Zone Camaro took the Warrior title over Jared Yuhasz with
a .002 light and a run of 7.56 at 174.08 MPH to Jared's real close 7.54 at 184.31 MPH. WOW!!!

Dan Hoyler is off and gone in taking the Pro Stick title over Michael Ford's Nova with a 11.00 on a 10.97 at 119.68 MPH to the Chevy's run out 10.04 on a 10.14 at 135.03 MPH.

Will Pusey went Back to Back winning both Saturday and Sunday's Top ET titles. On Sunday he ran right on his 8.85 dial at 145.93 MPH to defeat Allen Zimmerman Camaro's 10.91 on a 10.88 at 122.98 MPH.

Blase now has an eliminator title in JR, Street, Modified
and Top. Is a Bike in his future?

Mike Boyer onboard his `Busa cut a great .004 light and ran a 9.60 on a 9.54 at 137.71 MPH to stop Billy Maturo in the semi's. Mike then dropped a close one to King Ed Fetterolf in the title match running right on but a little late.

In the all Ford finals of Street it was Sue Vollman taking her first ever title over veteran, Dale Rhoads classic `66 Mustang. Sue ran a 12.01 on a 12.00 at 114.48 MPH to Dale's better .058 light forcing him to run out by .003 with a 12.167 on a 12.17.

Deacon Dennis, Brian, Bryce and Big House cheer Sue's first win.
Hey' it's an IRON MAN title to boot!!!

Family Affair: In the HRT final, Sean Boyle is out first with a better .050 to .083 light over wife, Thamaira and ran right on his 14.57 dial at 93.39 MPH to Thamaira's run out 12.552 on a 12.57 at 102.24 MPH. These two may team up and dominate Hot Rod.

Zack Miller's Nova prevailed in the TCR finals over Colin Smith's Firebird with a 10.17 on a 10.13 at 66.77 MPH to the 10.30 on a 10.25 at 66.42 MPH for Smitty.

Ron Settle's `67 Camaro took an easy pass for the win in the 40 car Pro Stick finals after George Kull's Big Block Mercury Capri drew a -.010 foul, running a 8.84 on a 8.81 at 147.27 MPH.

The MANDRA finals was a Chevy verses Ford affair with Brian Freels "Jungle Jim" Nova taking the win over the screaming Boss 302 of the Schnoke Brothers with a .005 light and a 10.64 on a 10.61 at 121.37 MPH to the Mustangs right on but late 9.624 on a 9.64 at 137.55 MPH.

Will Pusey took the Top ET title on Saturday over points leader, Brian Vollman with a right on the dial 8.840 at 153.42 MPH after cutting a .008 light. Brian ran out getting to the strip first with a 9.057 on a 9.08 dial at 151.51 MPH.

Roy cut a .022 light and ran a 11.59 on a 11.46 at 115.45 MPH to the Firebird's late 8.89 on a 8.87 at 154.93 MPH. The race marked the 11th final round appearance for Blase without a win. But that was about to change in the next two days.

2007 IHRA Bracket Finals Champion, Billy Maturo picked up the title over Rookie, Bill Bair's 'Busa when he fouled with a -.069. Billy ran a great 9.019 on a 8.98 at 148.98.

Marlin Shelly and the family cheers on Dwight's first title.

Hot Rod Trophy princess, Thamaira Boyle, took yet another title. This time over her nemesis, Derek Hartley, in his strong running Chevette. The Mopar pilot ran out the least with a 12.489 on a 12.50 at 100.84 MPH to the 6's 14.984 on a 15.00 at 90.89 MPH.

In the big JR Dragster field in all came down to two hot shoes. Cody Binkley left first and was never caught by `06 Champ, Colton Kirchner. Cody ran a 8.01 on a 7.96 at 70.60 to Colton's 8.00 on a 7.90 at 72.40 MPH for the title.

But we did get some great photos.

Another killer Warriors match up.
