DUBBS DOES IT AGAIN!!

Brian Dubbs won his second Top Beaver of the season with a
final round win over Street Champion, Michelle Miller. With both
drivers cutting exact lights it was Brian taking the strip with
a closer to the dial 9.535 on a 9.52 to Michelle's 12.167 on a
12.14.

in the battle of the "Brian's" it was Dubbs taking the top ET
title over 2007 champion, Brian Vollman's Mustang with a perfect
.000 light and a run of 9.50 on a 9.48 at 131.96 MPH to the
Ford's 9.375 on a 9.36.

Bike finals went to veteran, Dave Carpenter onboard his Kawasaki
over a red lighting Bob "Fig" Newton and his quick Hayabusa. Da
Carp ran a 9.794 on a 9.72 at 133.13 MPH to Fig's 9.59 on a 9.48
in a tight runner up showing.

Modified finals was a battle of seasoned drivers when Earl Gee
and Dick Kuhlman met. The race looked like it was going to be a
close one with earl cutting a .009 light but it was over when
the 340 Demon had engine problems and gave the win to Kuhlman's
Nova.

The Street title went to Michelle Miller over rookie Brent Noll
and his Mopar. Michelle dragged the tree with her cutting a .013
light and running a 12.20 on a 12.17 at 107.02 MPH to Brent's
run out 12.608 on a 12.62.

Hot Rod Trophy fell to rookie, Kyle Rhoads in his Thunderbird
over hot shoe, Sean Boyle. In a tight one it was Rhoads 15.99 on
a 15.98 at 82.81 MPH taking the Mopar's 14.899 on a 14.87 that
made the difference.

Mark Frank débuted his new name, 'White Lighting' and put the
Malibu into the winner's circle in TCR over Colin Smith's
Firebird. Mark ran a 10.087 on a 10.00 to Colin's 10.355 on a
10.32 in the victory.

JR Dragster was taken by Michael Koser's Lucas sponsored ride
over Jake Wood's Repozest rail. Michael ran a 8.09 on a 8.03 at
76.51 MPH to Jake's 8.12 on a 8.03..

The Outlaw Pontiac Drag Series was on hand
with a great field of car. The finals came down to Jim Prisk's
`72 GTO verses Greg Orris in his `05 GTO. When the dust was
settled, Orris won his third title in three years at the Beaver.

Pontiac champions Greg Orris and Jim Prisk are joined in the
winners circle by Beaver Bob and Steve Dress. At BSD we always
had a soft spot for indians.
