Chamberlin takes Top Street
2 Rain delays, but we get the race in

Following an
hour rain delay the race was shortened to 1/8 mile to complete
the race in a timely manner. It all came down to Modified
Champion, Allen Chamberlin in his Camaro defeating Division 3
Bike Champion, Billy Maturo. Allen cut a .024 and ran a 6.18 on
a 6.20 and breaking out the least as Billy ran a 6.00 on a 6.03.

Think it didn't rain? An hour later we were racing. Only
at the Beaver.

John Troxell doubled up running Modified and Top and it paid off
with a Top ET title over rookie and former TCR Champion, Heather
Putt, when Troxell ran closer to his dial with a 6.48 on a 6.46
to Heather's 5.28 on a 5.25. The Fairmont was on the number all
day long and almost made it to the finals in Modified too.

Bike finals went to Division Champion, Billy Maturo over Flying
Brian Snyder when Brian left too soon with a -.014 light. Billy
cut a .019 in a winning effort.

Beavers Bikers are the best!! Six individual Champions, 5
titles.
If you can win at the Beaver, you can win the Bracket Finals.

Modified finals was a tight one with Doug Kline's Hemi running
it out the back door and taking too much stripe when he went a
7.29 on a 7.33 to Allen Chamberlain's
6.21 on a 6.19. Both of these guys are a threat to win at every
race.

The Beaver has some of the biggest and toughest Street
Eliminator fields in the division and Sunday was no exception ad
Dave 'Gunner' Miller was able to take down Rich Houser's 440
Colt in the finals with a 7.73 on a 7.71 to Rich's run out 7.80
on a 7.83. Both drivers were thankful that Beaver Bob held out
and ran the race.

Hot Rod Trophy has been a dog fight all season long as rivals,
Derek Hartley and Sean Boyle met in the finals with Sean's Mopar
coming out on top this time with a 9.52 on a 9.48 to Derek's
9.87 on a 9.83.

TCR points leader, Zack ' Pea shooter' Miller, picked up his 5th
title of the season with a final round victory over Colin Smith
in his Firebird. Zack ran a 10.30 on a 10.26 to Colin's 10.49 on
a 10.40.

Baby TCR, a free second chance race for the kids, was won by
rookie, Dustin Hagans in his Monte Carlo over Carly Smith's
Cougar when he ran a 10.87 on a 10.80 to Cutie's closer but
later, 11.02 on a 11.00
