WHITMER REPEATS IN TOP
BEAVER
THREE PEATS IN MODIFIED

Kevin Whitmer picked up his second in a row Top Beaver and
his third win in a row in Modified. He captured the Top Beaver
title with this win over Dave Weaver's Charger. Kevin cut a .002
light and ran a 10.08 on a 10.07 at 128.73 MPH to stop Street
Champ, Dave Weaver's 12.65 on a 12.62 at 106.47 MPH

Kevin Whitmer won the first round of Top Beaver over Bike Champ,
Bill Bair with a .008 R/T and a 10.08 on a 10.07 at 128.73 MPH.
Bair fouled with a -.037 red.

Dave Weaver ran right on his 12.63 dial at 103.55 MPH to defeat
Top ET Champ, "HJ" Hemi John Simbeck's 426 Cuda's 9.10 on a 9.05
at 154.55 MPH

HJ "Hemi John" Simbeck already has the Top ET title as Steve
Miller drew a red light with an oh so close -.001. HJ went on
and recorded a 9.06 on a 9.04 at 154.85 MPH.

In a close one, Kevin Whitmer's Camaro came out on top with a
10.07 on a 10.05 at 130.13 MPH to Will Leitch's 10.33 on a 10.28
at 130.68 MPH. R/T's: 048 to .044.
It's his third win in a row. This guy is on fire.

Cliffie Eicher ran it out the back door in the semi's of
Modified and came up short with a 12.054 run out on a 12.07 dial
at 112.65 MPH.

Bill Bair's "Plain Vanilla" `Busa ran closer to his dial in
taking the Bike title over Bob "Fig" Newton when he ran a 9.17
on a 9.13 at 142.67 MPH to "Fig's" 9.48 on a 9.40.

Bill Bair cut a .068 to Billy's .069 and took the win in the
semi's.

Dave "Carp" Carpenter had his Ninja on the edge and almost
pulled out the win
but a 9.395 on a 9.40 at 140.40 MPH gave the win to "Fig"
Newton.

In the all MOPAR Street final it was Dave Weaver taking the
title from Jackie Kohr's 340 Dart with a 12.78 on a 12.63 at
98.84 MPH to Jackie's 13.11 on a 13.04 at 102.27 MPH. It was a
fine showing for Jackie while husband, Dennis, was at MIR.

Dale Rhoads dropped a close on in the semi's of Street with a
run out.

Hot Rod Trophy found Daryl McNew taking the title over points
leader, Thamaira Boyle, in his Malibu after the MOPAR princess
fouled. Daryl ran a great 11.20 on a 11.19 at 116.74 MPH for the
trophy and the glory.

The TCR title went to Mark Frank in his "White Lighting" Malibu
over points leader, Zack Miller, when he cut a little better
light and ran a 10.15 on a 10.13 at 65.65 MPH to Zack's run out
10.167 on a 10.17 at 66.48 MPH.

With no JR Dragsters in competition today due to the JR
Nationals at MIR, Dan Dunkleberger made the jump to TCR and
showed he has the right stuff lasting until the semi's before he
was stopped by points leader, Zack Miller.

Gunner Miller has dropped the nose and took the stripe and the
win over Heather Putt in the Lil Beaver race. As a racer thank
you, Beaver Bob posted the $300 purse and charged no entry fee.
40 cars made the first round. What a race!!

In the semi's of Lil Beaver, Heather Putt and Rich Powell had a
heads up 8.25 battle with Rich getting his head handed to him by
his Step-daughter. Heather cut a .005 light to Rich's .096 and
ran a 8.259 at 165.01 MPH to Sasquache's 8.26 at 164.71

Heather leads Rich back to the trailer.

Baby Beaver TCR went to Carly Smith's Cougar over Brad
Robinson's Chevelle with a 11.01 on an 11.05 at 63.51 MPH to
Brad's 11.42 on a 11.52.
WINNERS CIRCLE

HJ, Hemi John, Simbeck in the Winner's Circle for his Top ET
win.

Kevin Whitmer has been on a roll in the last month. He picked up
his third Modified title in a row, (That's a $25 Bonus) plus
went back to back in a Top Beaver title. With the win he is now
in the points lead in Modified.

Rookie, Bill Bair, picked up his 3rd Bike title of the year.
He's now 3rd in overall points. Tana agrees that he's
quite a guy.

Dave Weaver moved into a comfortable points lead after his win
in Street.

Hot Rod Trophy Champion, Daryl McNew of Fayetteville, PA

Mark Frank won his 4th TCR title. With the win he moved into 3rd
place.

Gunner Miller took the Beaver Bob freebie Lil Beaver title
