"Jimmer" Shaeffer takes Top Street

Jim Shaeffer put his street legal Vega in the Top Street winners
circle with a final round victory over Bryan Parson's screaming
347 inch Mustang. Jim used a .038 light and a run of 10.46 on a
10.45 at 128.70 MPH to over come Bryan's 10.11 on a 10.05 at
138.52 MPH.

Eric Krell won the Outlaw Street title over points leader, Mike
Harpster's `66 Mustang when Mike went red with a -.003. Eric ran
it out the back door with a 9.227 on a 9.26 at 149.25 MPH to
Mike's 9.718 on a 9.72 at 138.48 MPH.

Chris Shaffer's SS Furious got an uncharacteristic head start
over Craig Poust "Pop and go" Turbo Honda and made good use of
it. Chris cut a .018 to Craig's .090 and then ran a 12.10 on a
12.03 at 104.90 MPH to stop the flying Yellow jacket's 11.21 on
a 11.10 at 119.95 MPH to win Street Stick.

The Street Auto title bout came down to a Chevy verses Ford
battle with the Chevelle of Rob MacDonald taking the win over
points leader, Jed Seigler. In the double run out finals Rob cut
a .085 and took the win with a 12.144 on a 12.18 at 110.78 MPH
to Jed's .060 lights and a 10.978 on a 11.02 at 116.51.

The Sport Bike finals came down to Mr. Friday Night, Brian
Snyder on his `Busa against Jeff Stahl's Ninja. Jeff prevailed
with a 9.93 on a 9.91 at 135.50 MPH to Brian's 9.81 on a
9.73 at 143.19 MPH.

Michelle Cash$$$ was looking good in Bone Stock Truck but ran
out with a 16.663 on a 16.67 at 81.44 MPH giving the win over to
Bill Marks in his Dodge. Bill took the win with a 14.287 on a
14.24 at 87.42 MPH.

Looks like they're going to the Giant store for grocery to me.
The Sport Compact finals came down to Craig Poust in his Ford
Mini Van verses Steph Yocum in her Ford Probe. At the stripe it
was Craig taking the win with a 18.18 on a 18.19 at 72.68 MPH to
Steph's 17.07 on a 17.10.

In yet another double run out finals, adult ATV points leader,
Barb Troup, increased her points lead when she took the title
over Michael Ross's Kawasaki with a 21.381 on a 21.50 at 48.77
MPH to Mike's 15.29 on a 15.42.

Tyler Gardner in out first and running for home in his Trans Am
over Autumn Miller's Mustang. Ty took the TCR title with a
15.611 on a 15.62 at 87.88 MPH to Autumn's run out 14.546 on a
14.58 at 96.56 MPH.

JR ATV was another double run under affair with Sarah Marks
taking the measure over Kyle Kohr when she cut a great .014
light and ran a 12.571 on a 12.63 at 46.39 MPH to Kyle's .084
light and a 10.300 on a 10.45 at 59.37
BONUS SHOTS

Jimmer collects on his "Ethel hug".

Johnny Whiskey lost a by a red light to Jed in the semis of
Street Auto.

"The student and the master" Richie and Dr. Rick Bunting

It's down to the finals.

Autumn Miller lost a close one to Kyle Kohr when he ran right on
his number.

Bob Waer in his "Buzzin' Half Dozen" lasted until the
semis in Outlaw Street
but Eric Krell's .010 light put an end to his quest for the
title.

JR ATV tough guys, Dylan Weader and Nick Cashdollar.

BSD old timer, Glen Heddings, is back at the Beaver in his sharp
`68 Camaro.

Outlaw Street points leader Harpster, dropped King Ed in the
second round.

Darren Webb and Sarah Marks show off their two perfect
.000 light against each other in the first round of JR ATV. Do
you think these kids will be tough in a few years when their in
Street? At the Beaver we grow champions.
WINNERS CIRCLE

Top Street Champion, Jimmer Sheaffer and his number one fan.

Jeff Stahl put his Ninja into the Sport Bike winners circle.

Chris Shaffer is back to his winning ways in Street Stick with
the SS Furious.

The Street Automatic title went to Rob MacDonald over hot shoe,
Jed Seigler. Both drivers brought their moms to share in the
victory photo.

Tyler Gardner picked up the TCR title in his Trans Am again.

Bill and Sarah Marks shared the winners circle after their wins
in Bone Stock Truck and JR ATV. In the first round of JR ATV,
Sarah and her opponent, Dylan Weader both cut perfect .000
lights. It was the first time it ever happened in our history of
26 years of recording reaction time.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION SECTION

On the Labor Day Friday Drags,
Tanya Grenoble, took the ATV title over Rich Klase with a right
on the number run of 22.35 on a 22.35 at 52.03 MPH to Rich's
15.98 on a 15.58 at 78.13 MPH. It was her first title in ATV.

Tanya is joined in
the winners circle with her parents, Brenda and Seth Grenoble.
Seth and Brenda are the people behind the famous Seth's
Automotive Machine and sponsors of the 100 MPH Club.
Note: Due to
the volume of results that needed posted I neglected to post all
of the winners. Seeing it was Tanya's first, she deserved the
