GUNNER SHOOTS `EM DOWN

Street eliminator champion, Dave "Gunner"  Miller held on to his .002 better light to take the Top Beaver title over Top ET champion, Ron Maslanik. Gunner ran a 12.08 on a 12.05 at 110.81 MPH to Ron's run out 9.802 on a 9.81.

The scoreboards tells the tale. Gunner won when Ron ran out.

With a .007 light in his pocket, Ron Maslanik was able to hold off Sue Vollman's hard charging dragster. Ron nailed a 9.79 on a 9.79 at 138.24 MPH to Sue's close 8.34 on a 8.31 at 164.38 MPH.

In sure was close in the Modified finals with Dave Gramley's Camaro just edging out "Gentleman Jim" Holland's GTO in the traps with a 10.16 on a 10.12 at 133.05 MPH to Jim's 10.96 on a 10.92 at 122.63 MPH.

With both riders having .026 lights it was who ran out the least at the stripe.
The win light came on in Billy Maturo's lane when he carded a 8.738 on a 8.76 at 153.11 MPH to Dr. Rick Buntings 9.044 on a 9.09 at 155.49 MPH.

Gunner Miller's .004 light was just enough to keep Mike Holland from having back to back  wins in Street eliminator. Gunner laid down a 12.104 on a 12.09 at 103.71 MPH to Mike's right on 13.57 on a 13.57 at 99.68 MPH.

Al Judy took too much stripe in the finals of Hot Rod Trophy giving the win over to Val Hagans in her Monte Carlo.

Bud Poust's `69 Nova 396, cut a little better light and parlayed it into a win in
Lil Beaver over Dave Erickson's classic `59 Chevy "The Crow".
WINNERS CIRCLE

Deacon Kohr gave a cold baptism Top Beaver/Street Eliminator Champion, Gunner Miller and son Zack who was runner up in TCR.

Top ET champion, Ron Maslanik, with friends and co-racers, Michelle, Brian Pecht and Eliminator sponsor Dave Bratton of Class 1 Transport, never seen it coming. Deacon Kohr got in a perfect shot for Ron's first win.

Bike champion, Billy Maturo, got a real cooling off from Deacon Kohr.

PPG paint specialist, Dave Gramley, captured his first Modified title and received his just rewards from Deacon Dennis.

Lil Beaver Champion, Bud Poust got a real surprise from Cody Smith.

Former TCR star, Val Hagans, picked up the Hot Rod Trophy title.

The entire Smith family got the TCR Champion discount baptism special from Deacon Kohr. One extra full bucket of Reverend Youtzy blessed, cooler water.

It was payback time for the Kohr's after Kyle won JR dragster.
Jake Wood administered the blessed event.

Top champ, Ron Maslanik, congratulates Dave Miller on winning Top Beaver.

Top star, Sue Vollman, had to give Ron her own special cool off congrats.

Big House, Joe Clark, had three days worth of cooler water waiting for Gunner.

Billy Maturo was closing fast on Gunner in the first round of Top Beaver but Dave's .018 light to Billy's .074 made the difference for Gunner.

Ron Maslanik's red `68 drove by Mod champ, Dave Gramley when the sharp Camaro had driveline problems going into high gear.

"The Doctor was in" this weekend.

Lori Leonard had low reaction time both Saturday and Sunday. She went to the semi's of Bike on Sunday. The girl is getting tougher ever week.

The Biker Brigade waiting for their peers to make the next run.

"The Crow" took this round of Lil Beaver from veteran Bob Best.

Dennis Mull has too much Monte Carlo in front of Mike Holland in the semis of Street eliminator. Dennis ran out with a 14.86 on a 14.84.

Sue finished in second place in series one points. What a great rookie.

Patti Powell made a special guest appearance this weekend and it paid off as daughter Heather made it to the finals Saturday and 3rd round on Sunday.

Hells Angles, the Beaver Springs chapter. Looks scary.
