![]() Sunday, September 20, 2009 MARKS OVER LONG IN WFO ![]() The WFO Club finals was a barn burner with Bill Marks having run a 8.56 in the semis and Leonard Long running a 8.57 you just knew they would do all they could to win. Leonard pulled the trigger too soon with a -.026 and running an out of shape 8.821 at only 138.48 MPH as Bill cut a perfect .000 Pro Tree light and laid down a 8.589 at 161.11 MPH for the Jensen's Mean Street title. ![]() A pair of Andy Jensen's best friends met in the finals of Hot Street with shop man, Clint Lanning taking the title in his Camaro over Don Kunis' sharp `66 Nova. Clint cut a .019 light and ran a 10.75 on a 10.69 at 125.78 MPH to stop Don's 10.33 on a 10.30 at 131.65 MPH. ![]() Pete Kane was -.015 too anxious in his Corvette and gave the Jensen's Cool Street title to Jeff Bartholomew's 383 Challenger. Jeff ran a 12.73 on a 12.70 at 109.43 MPH for the title over Pete's 12.49 on a 12.45 at 112.37 MPH. ![]() In the finals of the Snook's Performance Double .00 Club race it was Mike Harpster taking the title in his Mustang over Tom Risban's Monte Carlo when he cut a .016 light and ran a 9.92 on a 9.71 at 116.15 MPH to Tom's off pace 12.32 on a 12.07 at 108.45 MPH. ![]() In the finals of Street Stick, Chris Shaffer and Mike Rowe dialed way down to 11.00 to have a heads up, flat out race for the title. At the green it was Mike out first with a .045 to Chris' .052, but at the stripe it was the 440 taking the win with a 11.223 at 120.88 to Mike's 11.271 at an identical 120.88. ![]() Johnny Whiskey is out on a good .029 light and was never caught by Graham Daddy Taylor's Vega in the Street Automatic eliminator. Whiskey ran a 17.51 on a 17.45 at 80.28 MPH which was enough to stop Graham's .097 light and 10.02 on a 10.00 at 128.77 MPH. ![]() Mr. Friday Night, Brian Snyder, has just lit the bulb in the finals of Sport Bike as Dave Davis streaks to the title. Dave won with a 9.30 on a 9.23 at 145.04 MPH to Brian's 9.68 on a 9.65 at 144.74 MPH. Their lights -.001 Brian to -.005 Dave Dick Kuhlman is out first in the Outlaw Street finals over a red lighting Eric Krell. Dick ran a 10.75 on a 10.70 at 126.54 MPH for the title as Eric ran it out the back door with a 9.244 on a 9.30 at 149.05 MPH for a runner up. ![]() Michael Ross made it two finalist showing in a row when he took a runner up to Matt Hile in ATV. Matt won with a 14.29 on a 14.24 at 81.92 MPH to Michael's 15.25 on a 15.15 at 77.98 MPH. ![]() TCR finals came down to Kody Poorman in his Stratus against Tyler Gardner in his Trans Am. It was over at the tree when Kody went red with a -.003 running a 17.64 on a 17.53 at 79.87 MPH to Ty's winning 15.36 on a 15.34 at 90.50. ![]() DJ Clark put his Suzuki right on the number with a 13.700 on a 13.70 at 44.11 MPH to stop Sarah Marks run under pass of 12.16 on a 12.18 at 50.63 MPH. WINNERS CIRCLE ![]() The Marks were on the money all day long with Bill winning the WFO Club title and a runner up in Bone Stock Truck. Sarah, took a runner up in JR. Chris pulled off a Three-Peat winning Street Stick on the Vegas Fuel Friday Street Races then taking the Heads Up Index title on Saturday Night. Plus the prestigious Jensen's Mean Streets Stick title. The guy is hot!! ![]() Beaver Bikers, Brian Snyder and Dave Davis dominated the Sport Bike field with their Hayabusa's. Dave won the title and Brian was the runner up. ![]() Tim "Yoda" Kocher joined Johnny "Whiskey" Winisko in the winners circle after Whiskey took a hard fought Street Automatic title over Graham Daddy Taylor. ![]() Dick Kuhlman was the man in Outlaw Street with his Nova. ![]() Eric Krell was runner up in Outlaw Street in his Malibu ![]() Craig Poust took a very competitive Sport Compact title with his Turbo Civic. ![]() Points leader, DJ Clark picked up another JR ATV title. ![]() Will Marks took the Bone Stock Truck title over his dad Bill. ![]() AJ with ATV Champion, Matt Hile and son with Grandpa Harry ![]() Tyler Gardner picked up the TCR title in his Trans AM. ![]() Kody Poorman was the runner in in TCR with his Stratus. ![]() Andy joins Mike and Penny Harpster in winning the Snook's Performance Double .00 Club title over a stellar field of drivers. ![]() The finals in the Beaver Hot Dog Race came down between the teams of Mike Rowe and Will Marks verses Autumn Miller and Dwight Shelly. It was a close one with the team of Miller and Shelly taking Top Hot Dog. ![]() Andy congratulates Autumn Miller and Dwight Shelly for their win in BSD famous Hot Dog Race. They had to win 3 rounds (or 6 dogs) to take the title.
