WILL MARKS TAKES TOP STREET


With both Mike McGowan and Will Marks doing their trade mark
wild smoky burnouts, the stage was set for the finals of Top
Street. Mike was out on a good .028 light but Will's perfect
.000 (on a Pro Tree!!) was too much for Mike. Will ran a 9.00 on
a 8.95 at 143.90 MPH to Mike's 9.72 on a 9.70 at 136.42

Street Stick was another all Ford finals this weekend with
Dennis Henry picking up the win in his classic `66 Mustang over
Lynn Umberger's `71 Comet. Dennis ran a 11.50 on a 11.50 at
112.27 MPH to Lynn's troubled 10.57 on a 10.24.

"The Dawg" Jason Derr, is out on a .028 light to Tyler
Bergenstock's .016 but JD big MPH forced Ty to run under his
10.96 dial with a 10.947 to JD's 7.503 on a 7.49 at 176.78 MPH.
It sure was close at the stripe.

A pair of `Busa's met in the finals of Sport Bike with Brian
Snyder stopping Dave Davis running a 9.94 on a 9.77 to Dav's
9.56 on a 9.47.

Ashley "Cup Cake" Brady is out first in the finals of Street
Auto, but Jed Seigler's .009 light made the difference taking
the title with a 10.93 on a 10.84 at 109.86 to Ashley's 11.21 on
a 11.17 at 117.34.

Shark in the wading pool: Top ET standout driver, Jeff Duck,
came out for a fun night competing in Sport Compact with Donna's
Pontiac. With Rylee as co-pilot he slashed through the field
stopping Richard Carnhart's Subaru WRX si in the finals with a
17.63 on a 16.80 at only 52.98 MPH to the Subie's 16.38 on a
15.80 at 85.12 MPH.

In the Bone Stock Truck finals Tony Varner is out first with a better
light but Richie Bunting in the Doc's '01 Lightning drove right
by at the stripe with a 12.80 on a 12.76 at 102.91 to Tony's
19.35 on a 18.85 at 69.66 MPH.

Rick Klase picked up the ATV title over Steve Hull's -.006 red.
Rich ran a
15.41 on a 15.17 at 79.30 MPH for the win.

Shania Taylor is out too soon with a -.043 red light in her
Dodge Minotaur as Kyle Kohr blasted a 10.03 on a 10.06 in his
340 Dart for the win.

Drew Yocum was looking good into the finals but a -.022 red
ended his quest for the JR ATV title as Shania Taylor prevailed
with a 13.91 on a 13.85.
BONUS SHOTS

In the semi's of Outlaw Street, Ty Bergenstock took the win over
Mike McCracken's `10 Camaro with a 10.94 on a 10.97 at 122.16
MPH when Mike's car suffered a mechanical failure. It would have
been a good one.

In the battle of Lightnings in Bone Stock Truck it was Richie
Bunting picking up the win over Mountain Valley Custom's owner,
Rob Murphy with a 12.94 on a 12.76 at 93.10 MPH to Rob's 11.76
on a 11.20 at 114.89 MPH.

Former TCR stars, Brandon Renninger in his Trans AM and Jed
Seigler in his Fairmont met in the semis of Street Auto with Jed
taking the win.

Outlaw Street has been bringing out all the cool cars this
season.

Both Drew Yocum and Kevin Kohr had .067 lights with Drew picking
up the win running a 13.36 on a 13.35 to Kevin's 17.71 on a
17.72. JR ATV: it's a hit!!

Mike McCracken laid a light on Christina DiBartolomeo's Nova in
the 1/4 finals of Outlaw Street and picked up the win with a
.035 running a 8.81 on a 8.79.
WINNERS CIRCLE

Dennis Henry had the reins of his Mustang working right taking
the tough
Street Stick title for the third time in six races.

Jed Seigler found the combination and put his Fairmont into the
Street Automatic winner's circle.
Here's a Beaver Fact: Four former TCR Racers made it to
the finals in four different classes. With Jed winning in Street
Auto over Ashley Brady, Richie Bunting winning Bone Stock
Truck and Ty Bergenstock taking a runner up in Outlaw Street. It
sure looks like the program works.

2009 Top ET Points Champion, Jason Derr with wife April, had his
`09 S&W running the numbers and took the Outlaw Street title
winning a Pizza.

Brian Snyder is back on his game taking the Sport Bike title
onboard his Advanced Auto Parts sponsored Hayabusa.

Richie Bunting and his crew picked up the Bone Stock Truck
title.

Rich Klase, won the ATV title over Steve Hull's Lakoda.

Kyle Kohr put his Dart into the winners circle taking TCR. The
Beaver Kids rule!

Shania Taylor, went down for doubled and hit a win in JR ATV and
a runner up in TCR. She's going to be another hitter to watch. |
