Beaver Bob's Overview of the Racing for Rita event

Without a doubt, the event was a success. In raising $1420 for the kids playground, Big Rita would have been proud and we are all happy with the results. How can we improve the event?
After looking over the race, a couple of avenues are being considered. Two full races were a little too much. The key word being full.  If we'd limit the two races to two rounds and then just take the 4 best packages from both the Friday and IHRA cars and then run them to completion, might just be a better event. We'd get finished  3 hours earlier and have more time for the fun races plus have the picnic at a better time. Then we could relax and listen to the band. With your input, both racers and crew, we can make the 2nd Annual Racing for Rita event  even a greater success. Send any of your ideas to me and we'll get the wheels turning for 2011.
