JIMMER TAKES TOP STREET

Jim Sheaffer had his Vega on the number all night long defeating Captain Ed Brady in the finals. Jim cut a great .004 light to Ed's .037 and ran a 10.569 on a 10.53 at 127.96 MPH taking the win to the Captain's 10.028 on a 9.99.

The Outlaw Street finals for real race cars came down to 2010 Modified Champion, Kevin Whitmer in his Camaro verses Dylan Griffey in his 351 Ford powered dragster. Kevin had the tree with a .030 to Dylan's .064 but he took too much stripe running out with a 9.854 on a 9.86 at 130.35 MPH to Griffey's winning 9.794 on a 9.61 at 126.17 MPH.

The Sport Bike finals was over at the tree when Dave Davis left first with the faster dial over Bob Newton. Dave cut a .071 to Fig's sleepy .393 and ran a 9.489 on a 9.25 at 135.33 MPH to Bob's losing 10.043 on a 9.49 at 118.85.

Lynn Umberger cut a perfect .000 Pro Tree light in his Comet in handing Branden Libby a losing time slip in the finals of Street Stick. Ummy ran a 11.056 on a 10.98 at 115.29 MPH to take the win over Lib's 14.297 on a 14.25.

In the finals of Street Auto, "Cup Cake" Brady was out first with a great .005 light over Graham Daddy Taylor's Vega. At the stripe it was Ashley taking the win with a 11.174 on a 11.13 at 113.30 MPH to Graham's 9.754 on a 9.69.

Tim Reigle is out first in his white Civic in the Sport Compact finals over Craig Poust's red Civic. Craig ran Tim down with a 15.271 on a 15.10 at 81.50 MPH  to Tim's 15.666 on a 15.60 at 90.68 MPH.

Ryan Shirk is out and gone for the win in  Bone Stock Truck with his F-150 over Jason Bentley's red lighting Ram. Ryan ran a 17.747 on a 17.67 at 78.91 MPH to the Dodge's 15.631 on a 15.58 at 88.26 MPH.

Brenda Grenoble is out on a better light over John Steeley's F-117 Banshee in the ATV finals. Brenda held on for the win running a 19.692 on a 19.46 at 57.66 MPH to the Lockheed's 14.028 run out on a 14.15 dial at 81.16 MPH.

In the TCR finals, Darren Webb put his Mustang in the winners circle over Joe Smith's Camaro with a 10.711 on a 10.58 at 63.10 MPH to Smitty's 11.129 on a 10.92 at 60.74 MPH.
 

In the all girl JR ATV finals Latricia Yocum is out first with a .019 light verses Danae Roles. Trish held on for the win running a 14.958 on a 14.78 at 38.15 MPH to Dancing Danae's run out 11.786 on a 11.80 at 50.84 MPH.

In an exhibition match with his dad Bill, Will Marks laid down an 8.45 at
163.55 MPH pass with a shot of juice. Looks like the Marks boys are ready for Flashback Friday's WFO race.

One of the closest runs of the night was in the semi's of Street Stick with Craig Jernigan's classic `63 Galaxie 390, 4 speed facing Lynn Umberger's 358 inch Comet. Craig was out first with a .030 light to Lynn's .042 but at the stripe Lynn took the win with a 11.038 on a 10.99 at 112.48 MPH to Craig's 11.813 on a 11.72 at 115.17 MPH.

Street Auto with a .021 to .108 light.

Mike Criswell found the combination to stop Jim Bowman's Mustang in the 1/4 finals of Outlaw Street with a .055 light, running a 10.614 on a 10.55 at 126.44.

Bill Marks fell to Jimmer Sheaffer in the semis of Top Street when he went red with a -.016 running a stout 8.704 on a 8.65 at 158.39 MPH.

Mark Allar broke out with a 12.04 on a 12.20 in round one of Street Stick verses runner up Branden Libby's 14.274 on a 14.26 at 89.39 MPH.

WINNERS CIRCLE

Jim Sheaffer took a hard fought win in Top Street over his rival and friend, Captain Ed Brady.

Dylan Griffey picked up his first ever eliminator title in his 351 Ford powered dragster winning Outlaw Street. He'll be a regular the rest of the season.

Pro Stick driver, Lynn Umberger, won his second Street Stick title in his Comet. Lynn is another one of the killers out of the G-Force / Long Shifters stable.

Ashley Brady is the force in Street Auto winning for the second week in a row.

When it comes to wining in Sport Compact, Craig Poust is the man you have to watch out for. In only his second outing, Craig won for the second time.

With his Mustang on the mends, Ryan Shirk brought out his F-150 and won Bone Stock Truck. Looks like another little beaver is being groomed for racing.

Brenda Grenoble did a repeat winning ATV for the second week in a row.
Seth and Brenda are a great team with Seth being a force in Bone Stock Truck.

Darren and Bob Webb have been the dominate force in TCR winning
their 4th title of the season in his Mustang GT.

Trish Yocum picked up her second JR ATV title over Danae Roles. She's joined in the winners circle by all the JR ATV kids. It's a Beaver tradition.
