WHITMER TAKES TOP BEAVER
 Modified Champ, Kevin Whitmer, picked up the Top Beaver title with a final round victory over Sue Vollman's Top ET dragster with a 6.267 on a 6.25 at 107.82 MPH to Sue's 4.933 on a 4.93 at 140.77 MPH. The reaction time told the story with Kevin carding a .013 to Sue's .037.


Whitmer stopped Bob Klock's 440 Challenger in the semis of Top Beaver with a 6.26 on a 6.25 to Bob's run out 7.684 on a 7.70. Sure looks close to me.

Sue took her semi's of Top Beaver over Bike Champ, Justin Spaid with a great .004 light running a 4.995 on a 4.94 at 130.11 MPH to Justin's 6.090 on a 6.03 at 124.65 MPH.

The finals of Top ET pitted Super Street star, Norm Szamocki in his clean `67 Camaro verses Sue Vollman's Hoopla's rail. Both drivers nailed the tree but it was Sue taking the title with a 4.953 on a 4.93 at 139.88 MPH to Norm's 6.596 on a 6.54 at 104.44 MPH.

The Modified finals had Earl Gee in his 340 Demon facing Kevin Whitmer's Camaro. Kevin cut a little better light, .009 to .027, and parlayed it into a win with a 6.259 on a 6.26 at 109.87 MPH to Earl's 6.950 on a 6.98 at 100.18.

The Bike title fell to Justin Spaid on his Ninja over last week's champion, Billy Bair's Screamin' Yellow `Busa. Justin ran a 6.058 on a 6.03 at 124.53 MPH
 to Billy's 5.716 on a 5.69 at 124.41 MPH.


The Street finals pitted two veterans with Dale Rhoads in his Mustang verses Bob Klock in his Challenger. In a virtual heads up race it was Klock taking the win with a 7.708 on a 7.69 at 88.60 MPH to Dale's run out 7.738 on a 7.74.

Hot Rod Trophy finals fell to Johnna Crone in her Camaro over Ryan Laub's `92  Civic. Johnna carded a 7.945 on a 7.86 at 85.44 MPH to Ryan's 9.143
on a 9.00 at 75.62 MPH.


The JR Dragster finals came down to Jake Wood in his RepoZest entry verses Brian Vollman in his General ride. The Lil General drilled the tree with a .008 light and ran a 7.959 on a 7.96 at 82.53 MPH to take the win over Jake's 7.882 on a 7.92 at 82.38 MPH.

Jake made it to the finals with this squeaker over Bryce Vollman.

The TCR title again fell to Brandon Skelly in mom's Altima over Jeremiah Craft in th 'Farm Truck' with a 11.801 on a 11.78 at 60.85 MPH to Jeremiah's 12.641 on a 12.78 at 55.06 MPH.

The JR ATV finals was an all girl affair with Latricia Yocum in pink taking the win over Danae Roles with a 14.763 on a 14.78 at 37.68 MPH to Danae's red lighting 11.755 on a 11.76 at 51.83 MPH.

Baby Beaver JR went to Liberti Ferster's "Liberti's Freedom" rail over Mikie McCracken with a right on 12.867 on a 12.86 at 48.73PH to Mikie's 8.969 on a 8.96 at 71.69 MPH. Think these kids can drive!!

Grammy Ferster sure was happy with Liberti's first win in her new car.

 The finals of Lil Beaver came down to Cliff Eicher's Chevelle and Heather Putt's new dragster. Heather cut a .015 light and ran a 5.026 on a 5.01 at 137.50 MPH to take the title over Cliffie's 7.630 on a 7.63 at 88.26 MPH.

April Derr's -.007 red light translated into a car length too much in the semis.

 WINNERS CIRCLE

Vollman's down for doubles
Sue and her son Brian picked up the rare family double win with Sue's Hoopla dragster taking the Top Beaver title and Brian winning the JR Dragster title. Brother Bryce, went to the semi's in JR. It was almost an all Vollman finals. 

Kevin Whitmer and Cathy along with the Eicher's in the winners circle for his double wins in Modified and Top Beaver. Kev now leads Modified points.

Brenda and Justin Spaid with the Yocum's Trucking Iron Tree for winning Bike.

2010 IHRA Champ, Bobby and Tammy Klock, have found the way to the winner's circle early this season. Looks like another dog fight for the title.

Heather Putt placed her new dragster into the winners circle for an outstanding job in winning the Lil Beaver finals. Rich would like to thank Wayne Badman and Dave Bratton for all of their assistance in making their dreams come true.
