Stitley, put his crowd favorite Tijuana Taxi in the winners
circle with a final round victory over long time Beaver racer,
Randy Campbell in his
Full Metal Jacket, Studebaker.

Lew flashes a big thumbs up for his win

Skip Coverdale pulled off a big upset win in the AA/Gas
Supercharged final with a win in his Anglia over Rocky Pirrone's
Willys.

In the AA/GS
verses Funny Car it was the Mallicoat Bros. taking on Rocky.

The Mallicoat Brothers took two straight.

Rocky lost a close one.

All the way from California, the Mallicoats are a class act.
They'll be back for the Nostalgia Nationals in July.

The
Professor, Chris Holley, was unstoppable in Hot Rod winning the
title with a final round win over a tough Mike Harpster in his
potent Mustang.

The
bonus Lil Beaver finals fell to Graham Daddy Taylor over a red
lighting
Bud Poust in his Camaro.

Rusty
Sampsel's Bad Banana was a favorite. It raced at the Beaver in
1971.

Our own, Jim
Stugart, brought out his classic `56 Ford and won two rounds in
Hot Rod eliminator. "Waddell" still has the knack to drive a
stick.

Marc English was tough again in A/Hot Rod

Cliffie gave it a shot in Hot Rod and won a couple of rounds.

With Bob, it's a family affair. Check out the hand prints.

Jack Sampsel's `55 is an original to the Beaver. He ran our very
first race.

`57 verses `56 Chevy Gassers. This went on all weekend. It was
so cool.

Todd was busy all weekend long taking great photos.

John Schreiner's Anglia won over Saturday East Coast Gassers
champion, Roger Cavallaro in his `57 Chevy on Sunday.

Lots of wheel stands all weekend long.

I think we can fix it.

Crowd favorite, Don Moyer, stood it way up on Friday.

It's still a wheel
stand if it's on two wheels right?

He missed the 60 foot reflector. Don hurt his car on the
Saturday, breaking his antique Pontiac rear. He'll be back for
the Jalopy Showdown in October.

The
legendary Lou Terra laid down solid mid 11 second passes in his
409.

Jesse Abdo in his strong running Deuce.

Pit mates, Bob Ramella and Dave Bowen making a pass. This run
was early as Dave ran out of gas in eliminations. He need help
in his pit crew next year.

Brian Freels in his Jungle Jim entry stopped former JR Dragster
star, Steve Singley in the early rounds of Hot Rod.

had a lucky weekend getting in the money both days.

The Professor got by the Senior Moment Austin of Hot Rod.

Bought it new in 1965, still driving it.

The Reverend
Tom Youtzy came to check out the action. The Rev's Falcon could
have made the AA/GS show with his 9.20 passes.

Richard Moore, joins in a victory photo with Ohio George and the
Gasser Champ, Ship Coverdale. Richard provided $1200 in
non-contingent awards for the Supercharged Gassers. He said next
years race will be even better.

WINNERS CIRCLE

Mountain City Tennessee's number one son, Skip Coverdale, showed
everybody that an Anglia can play with the big boys. He defeated
his buddy Rocky Pirrone and his Willy's in the finals. That's
Rocky flashing a "V" for being second.

Lew Stitley took a
very popular win in Nostalgia Gas.

Wendy and Randy
Campbell in the winners circle for their runner up finish in
Nostalgia Gas in his cool Full Metal Jacket Studebaker.

"The
Professor", Chris Holley, picked up the Gasser Reunion gold for
his win in the Hot Rod eliminator. Chris is the man when it
comes to Nostalgia races.

Graham Daddy Taylor picked up the winners share of the Lil
Beaver race.

Lil
Beaver runner up, Mike Harpster and wife Penny, are joined by
Earnest McIntyre of Gasser Reunion and Ohio George for a great
finish.
