BEAVER’S ON THE ROAD – LEONARD LONG WINS NMCA: Leonard Long of Long Shifters and G-Force Transmissions dominated the NMCA event in Florida over the weekend. Leonard qualified number 2 with a 8.08 after setting low ET with a 7.92. On Sunday he sweep through the field on his way to the title in his 419 inch small block Ford. Leonard ran a 8.02 at 170.68 MPH in defeating Dwight Austin’s 8.03. Leonard said it was a team effort with Beaver regulars, Rick Bowman, Ron Reber, Dale Knudsun and Capt. Ed Brady all lending a hand in the winning effort. Look for the Long crew at our WFO and Street Outlaws races this season. Leonard is the official sponsor of the Friday Modified Street Series again for 2016.

TEAM BRATTON IN EARLY SEASON TESTING

Top ET hitters, Dave Bratton and Jeff Duck were making hits on their new combinations on Friday, March 11th. The two 565 inch Shafiroff’s dragsters were right on the mark in preparation for the upcoming Loose Rocker’s St. Patrick’s Classic at VMP. Brian Pecht and Jason Weaver will be joining Dave and Jeff on their quest to bring back the gold.

2016 RACERS SERVICES ANNOUNCED

Again this year we’ll offer: Reserved pit space for $100, Reserved space with a race trailer for $200, Reserved space with a Camper Trailer for $300, Reserved space with a Camper Trailer and a Race Trailer for $400.  WEEKEND CAMPERS: Camping is welcome at the Beaver. The cost is $20 for the weekend weather you’re in a tent or a Motor Home. ELECTRICITY: Very limited availability: $20 per weekend, $60 per month, or $300 for the season. SEPTIC TANK PUMPED: $20. All resident campers will be able to purchase a “Pump out ticket” from Donna Marie at the gate. Campers will be professionally serviced by Richard’s Portable Toilets.

So as to not conflict with other tracks, we have changed 2 of the race dates by one week. We are certain we’ll have a big number of racers compete in this great series.
