AZTEC LINEAR CONTRACTED TO RE-LINE TRACK

Aztec Linear, Du Bois, PA, has been contracted to re-stripe / re-line the track at the conclusion of the paving upgrades. The lines will all be applied in reflective paint that will “bring the track to life” under the lights. We will also be marking the finish line traps, both 1/8 and 1/4 mile, with ‘hounds tooth’ strips and lining out the return road. Yes, we can’t wait to see it too!!

This season, when you qualify in the 100 MPH Club by making a pass in excess of 100 MPH with your 100% street legal car or bike on DOT tires, in addition to the traditional 100 MPH Club decals, you’ll also receive a new Century Nationals decal. It’s a big one, 5 inch diameter, to be placed in a center focal point of the vehicle. The race will be contested during the Garage Club sponsored Jensen Mean Street Nationals on October 1-2. The race will be contested with vehicles in 100% Street Legal trim on DOT tires. It’s going to be a hit for sure!!CENTURY_Q16 (2)

What a great day, over 90 cars and bikes testing plus a very successful swap meet. Low ET of the day went to Tim Armstrong at 7.57 with daughter Rochelle right behind at 7.77 in their dragsters. Low ET door slammer was Capt. Ed Brady in Leonard Long’s 400 inch Mustang with a 8.09 at 167.47 MPH. Low ET Bike went to Andy Ritchey at over 150 MPH (We’re keeping this one secret as he’s a Top 10 contender). Top speed in trucks was Chris Gelbaugh in his Ram at 124.41 MPH!! Everybody was pleased with the new hook. Looks like it’s going to be a great season.
