A BEAVER ORIGINAL – SUPER MODIFIED:
Was introduced on Sunday. This was an idea we tried last year at the Jensen Mean Street event and it was a big hit. Here is the way it worked: We, Donna Marie and Beaver Bob, place your dial on your car based of your best ET in time trials. It’s a handicap race with a twist … you can’t loose by running under your dial in!! But if you do win and run under, you are re-dialed a tenth, (.10) quicker. We ran the race after the 2nd round and had 17 cars get in the “No Charge” race. When the dust had settled, Steve Miller took the title over Rich Poorman with Denise Poorman the lone semi-finalist.Steve won with a 9.20 on a 9.14 to Rich’s 11.27 on a 11.24.
